This report displays the full match scorecard including batting details, fall of wicket, bowling and fielding details.
Information is also displayed about the match itself including grade, match dates, venue, who won the toss, who batted first, follow on enforcement and the final result. You can also optionally display detailed batting details such as balls faced, minutes at the crease, number of fours and number of sixes. Player batting and bowling averages
The batting report displays total matches played, innings, notouts, total runs and the batting average for each batter
in the given grade for the club. The report can be set to display aggregates and averages over all grades in the club and be sorted by total runs or batting average.
The bowling report displays total matches played, overs, maidens, wickets, runs against, bowling average and strike rate for each
bowler in the given grade for the club. The report can set to display aggregates and averages over all grades in the club and be
sorted by total wickets, strike rate or bowling average. Hall of fame - batting and bowling (best performances)An important part of any sporting club is recognising outstanding performances.
These reports show the best batting and bowling performances by grade, season, or across grades and seasons. The report 'qualification'
are configurable, and access to the match containing the performance is only a click away. Player season reports and chartsFor any player a report can be generated giving a complete statistical record over the
entire season up to that point in time. This report includes a summary of every match played
broken down by grade, as well as overall statistics.
The summary report has sections for batting, bowling and fielding and includes total runs, wickets,
catches, averages, bowling strikerate, most common dismissal method, highest score and best bowling figures.
With this report coaches, selectors and players can instantly get a snapshot of a player's performance.
All past seasons data is also available to give a great overview of performance over time. The batting career chart
gives a great visual snapshot of batting peaks and troughs. Player career performance overviewA more detailed statistical report of the player over all seasons that the player has played at the club.
This includes all the usual batting, bowling and fielding statistics plus
top 10 partnerships the player has been involved with, break down of batting dismissal methods and a list of batting statistics
for each batting position. This is a very useful report that gives you a complete overview of a player's career. Season and Round Match SummariesThese reports give a summary of each match, with overall results and best performances (customisable). The
Season report gives a view of an entire season in a grade, while the Round report gives and entire round for a particular grade.
The Club Latest Results gives the current round for each of the club's teams, across one or more associations.
Match commentary/reviewSometimes even the most detailed statistics cannot give a true description of a game of cricket.
ResultsVault provides the ability for a written commentary to be stored and displayed for each match, by both competing sides. Club championMost clubs run some sort of club champion or overall club best and fairest which is based on allocating points for things done on the cricket field. With this report you can allocate points for runs scored, wickets taken, catches, stumpings, runouts, notouts and various bonus points such as points for reaching 50 runs. The report automatically calculates the points earned by each player and ranks them accordingly. Fantasy LeagueThe Fantasy League lets every player in the club play the role of Chairman of Selectors, and pit your selection skills against
everyone else in the club. You must pick your team that conforms to certain restrictions such as salary cap
and player types which is configurable by the club administrator.
Your team earns points according to those allocated as part of the club championship points criteria setup by your club.
The team with the most number of points at the end of the Fantasy season is the winner and will collect the prize pool!
This is a great way to raise money for the club.
Batting PartnershipsPartnerships are automatically calculated and can be accessed for each wicket. Each wicket can also be 'drilled' to display other partnerships for that wicket.
As usual, the report can be filtered by grade, season and club, and the match accessed with one click. Matches playedA report listing the matches played by each player at the club in each grade, or a summary across grades. Great for determining finals qualification. FieldingA report listing the number of catches, stumpings and runouts for each player. Team selectionTeam selection is a quick and simple process where players are selected from a list of active players from the club.
Filters can be applied to the list to further narrow down only the relevant players.
As a default the team selected in the previous round is picked as a starting point. The captain, wicket keeper and substitutes
can also be designated. After all teams are selected, a pre-formatted email can be generated and sent to players
in the player list, together with the match details and venue information, plus any other details.
The selected team then forms the basis for further match data entry after the match is played. Emails can also be sent to team members at any time via the 'send to team' function.
Draw/Fixture displayFixtures can be displayed in an easy to read single page report.
Each match in the fixture displays the date, teams, and venue with a link to the match results. Ladder displayLadders for each grade can be accessed giving the points and percentage for each team in the grade.
Also available for display are quantities such as the number of matches played, runs for, wickets lost, runs against and wickets taken.
The teams currently in the finals are highlighted (eg final four) as is the current club. Display past seasons results and statisticsMost reports can display results and statistics from past seasons and even display statistics collated over all seasons.
This builds a great sense of history within the club, and means that past scores aren't solely held in scorebooks (which often are hard to locate!).
Past season's data can be imported in summary format, and this information then integrates with data which is calculated from match score entry. Upcoming player milestones Often within sporting clubs major milestones can be overlooked simply because no one has the
time to update player statistics often enough to know when one is approaching.
This report lists major upcoming playing, batting and bowling milestones for each club so that club administrators and the players themselves can be notified of when milestone is to take place and acknowledge it when it does. For instance this report might show a player currently on 99 matches for a club. The club can then announce that that player is playing their 100th match in the following week and therefore the whole team will make sure that is a special game for the player involved. Virtual clubroomRecord your office bearers and award winners every season - you specify the categories.
This is great for maintaining your club history, and the information is also available on individual player reports. Competition Management Draw creation wizardOur powerful competition management features save clubs and associations time and money. One of the most time consuming pre season tasks an Association/League has is the generation and distribution of fixtures.
ResultsVault has a sophisticated draw creation feature which allows administrators to create fixtures in a matter of minutes
instead of hours and have the result immediately available online for review.
The draw creation feature can handle any number of teams per grade between 4 and 50, even grades with byes.
The draw can be seeded to generate certain matchups and offers default seedings based on home games or byes a team had
from the previous season (ie if a team had more away games than home games in the previous season the default seedings
will ensure that team has more home games than away games in the upcoming season).
All dates, round numbers, matches and venues are automatically generated based on basic information gathered at the
start of the process. The matches generated ensure that, as far as possible, the draw is fair for all clubs and will limit
the number of "runs" a club may have (consecutive home and away matches).
If you have an existing draw the draw creation feature can allow matches to be entered manually. Venue clash reports are also available.
The draw can be modified at any time up until each match is played. PDF fixture handbookAssociations can generate a PDF handbook which can be downloaded from any public fixture page. The handbook is completely flexible in that
it can contain dynamic ResultsVault data such as fixtures, venue information, club information and contact details, as well as documents provided
by the association such as rules etc. This can replace the printed handbook that many associations produce at considerable cost, which can
also go out of date as fixtures change. Easy to use results entryEntry of results, from team selections, to overall match results, player performances is made easy. In most cases, entry
of a full match scorecard takes only a few minutes. Smart features abound in ResultsVault - for example you only need to enter
team changes from the last round rather than select the whole team again. Match result verification and lockingAssociations/Leagues can control the result management process by using the match result verification
and locking process. Home teams are usually delegated as being responsible for entering the result (although away teams
can also enter the result if home teams fail to do so). The other team is then required to verify the
result that has been entered. Once this has occurred the association can review the result and
then make it "official". Once a result is official it can only be changed by the association,
however both teams can enter or change the player scores at any time, just not the final match totals and result.
There is also a dispute process that is available in case one side does not agree with result entered by the other.
The status of results entry (provisional, final, verified, disputed, official) is displayed next to the match in the fixture display
and on the match scorecard.
The association can also display a report which shows if any of the clubs were late in either entering or verifying the result. Match reportingAssociations can customise a match/captains report that each club must submit after every match.
Gather information about your umpires, clubs, ground conditions, or anything else you require to be submitted electronically.
Results can be totalled and averaged to give a quantitative view of the issues.
Export of weekly match results for newspaper publicationCustomise how the results are to be extracted - either full scorecards or summary format,
set the performance cut-offs and report terminologies.
A text file is generated with all information for email to agencies.
Automatic ladder calculationAs an association/league, how much time do you spend calculating ladders?
It can be one of the most time consuming weekly tasks that sporting associations have to do.
With ResultsVault this can all be done automatically. All the association has to do is to enter the number of points
earned for each result type such as Outright Win, First Innings Win etc. Bonus points and percentage can also be automatically
calculated based on the number of runs and wickets. We have surveyed many cricket associations have found so far that
we cater for all the different ways that ladders are calculated. Also available is a manual adjustment to ladder points
and percentage which can be used to take care of ladder points and percentage changes that may occur through forfeits, disqualifications and penalties. Manual ladder entryYou can choose to enter the ladder manually for each grade if necessary. This is a simple data entry screen
in which you can enter ladder points for each team as well as percentage if required. Ladder adjustmentWhen using automatic ladder calculation for a grade there may be situations where points or percentage
needs to be deducted or added due to penalties or disqualifications. In each instance a comment can be associated
with the adjustment, which can be viewed from the ladder. Extensive auditing and exception reportingEasily tell who updated what, and when. Exception reports help you track late/incomplete data entry and help you manage your competition easily and smoothly. Export of club and association dataData entered into ResultsVault is freely available for extract and download at any time. Data entered by a club/association remains their property. Venue mapsJust enter the location of a ground/venue, and a fully interactive (pan, zoom in, zoom out) map displays in addition the the venue name and address.
Makes finding venues easy! Participant Management Player and contact list managementManage all aspects of your player, contact, and umpire lists. With ResultsVault all your player and contact lists can be centralised and securely shared out to those that need
that information. No more multiple copies of contact and email lists which can get hard to manage.
Player details such as home, phone and mobile numbers, emails address(s) and postal information are included by default.
You can also keep past players on the list which can be marked as Inactive so they don't clutter up your reports.
Emails can be sent to players on the contact list (See Bulk Email Facility) which makes communicating training details,
news, team selections etc quick and simple. You can even add extra fields to your player records to maintain information that is important to you. Powerful search facilities and custom player filters and lists allow you to manage your player information and make things like team selection even easier. Bulk import and export of participant listsPlayers, Contacts and Umpires can be added to your lists in bulk via the bulk import function.
If you currently have an electronic version of your list in (for example) Excel or Word format,
you can export this list into a text format and then import those players into ResultsVault for your club, or update current data in one go.
You can also do the reverse, and export the player and contacts lists from ResultsVault to a text format that can be imported into other applications.
All list search functions also allow export of data. Umpire management and allocationAssociations can manage umpire lists and easily assign umpires to officiate in matches. Our powerful umpire management and assessment feature also
allows you to easily assign umpires, and then track their performance throughout the season, based on club feedback on a number of customisable categories.
There is a sophisticated, easy to use umpire allocation process which can even automatically allocate umpires based on a number of different criteria. Then easily notify the
umpires of appointments by email, SMS or mail merge.
Player and Umpire loginAll active players and umpires can login to a tailored menu to get access to functions and reports specific to them, as well as update their own information. Player registrationsIf an association/league chooses to they can require that all clubs register players with them before they can play.
If they do this with a paper based system it can lead to hours and hours of tedious re-typing and comparisons of team sheets to
registration lists. With ResultsVault this process is automated. All that is required from the club is to go to the Player
Registration screen and select which players from their player list that want to be registered for each Association.
At any time they can register extra players or de-register players as required.
For the cricket association they can check a list of all registered players for that club, the date they were registered and the
date they played their first game in their association. This way they can tell at a glance any clubs that have played unregistered
players and take the appropriate action. ResultsVault also generates a unique registration code for each player, which can be changed
by the association if they wish and also add a registration comment for that player. What's more, Associations can also make certain player fields
(such as DOB) mandatory, so that players must have this data entered before they can be registered. Player best and fairest votingPlayer votes are handled within ResultsVault for end of season association awards. Subscriptions managementEasily keep track of who has paid subscriptions to assist in the financial running of the club. All types of payments are supported including regular weekly payments. Communication Bulk email facilityResultsVault improves the flow of information between associations, clubs and participants. Emails, including attachments, can easily be sent to players on the club's contact list through ResultsVault.
Choose from your active/inactive player list, your contact list, or make your own selection.
This feature is incredibly useful and will dramatically improve the way you communicate with the current and past players of your club.
Associations have the ability to communicate with their affiliated clubs and their umpires in a similar manner. Bulk SMS facilitySMS messages can be sent to players, contacts and umpires as easily as sending an email. SMS is '2-way' so that SMS replies come back to your email address. Player and umpire availabilityClubs can easily determine the availability of players via our unique player availability system which ties together email, reporting and
team selection functions to save most of the ringing round on selection night. Availability can be set for the whole season at once if required.
There is a similar feature for umpire availability which integrates with umpire allocation. Team selectionsAll team selections can be emailed to the list(s) with a few clicks of the mouse, including information such as venues and dates. Customisation Reports customisationResultsVault and CricketVault are highly customisable for your club and association. Many reports can be customised or hidden from view entirely.
For example, some clubs may want to maintain some mystery over who has won end of season batting and bowling awards
and therefore may hide the batting and bowling averages reports from view over the last couple of rounds of the season.
Hall of Fame and Club Champion reports can also be customised to change cutoff levels for the report or, in the case of the Club Champion report, change the points earned for runs, wickets etc. Custom player lists and fieldsAdd extra fields to your player record as you need them, and create your own 'custom' player lists. Association customisationAssociations have a huge range of areas that can be customised, to name a few: ladder calculation, umpire assessments, grade age qualifications and time allowed to enter results. Personalise your siteResultsVault auto customises for a club or association, extra information about your club for the world to see, add your logo, and go even further with an integrated CricketVault/ResultsVault site. User Administration Secure access for data entryShare the workload by creating ay number of users. Only users with the correct login details can enter and modify data within ResultsVault, and only
in areas where they have permission to do so. Our security model allows different users to be assigned different access rights.
We also have standard security features such auto account lock out after a number of unsuccessful attempts.
User managementBoth clubs and associations can create other users who can login and perform administration tasks.
This allows the workload to be spread between different users while still maintaining system security and traceability.
For instance, a club may create one user per team so who is responsible for keying in the results and player scores.
An association may create different users who each represent a group of grades and are responsible for checking results,
making them official and checking player registrations. Each time data is entered, the user who made the change
is recorded along with the time it took place. Usability Customisable and user friendly web interfaceWe are constantly improving the usability of ResultsVault based on user feedback. ResultsVault has been built from the ground up to be easy to use and navigate. Your favourite pages can be added to your own custom built menu called "My Menu". You can also customise ResultsVault so that you view only the relevant data and reports for your club or association. Many reports can also be sorted and further customised (see Report customisation) so that the data is presented in exactly the way you want it. Can be used with or without a websiteIf your club or association already has a website then it can be easily integrated with ResultsVault.
ResultsVault provides hyperlinks that can be cut and pasted into your site to link to various reports and features.
Alternatively if you do not have a website you can access ResultsVault directly and customise it for your club or association.
In this case you should also consider a CricketVault site - a powerful, reasonably priced (in some cases free) club/association
web site building tool with full ResultsVault integration. Contact us for more information or visit www.cricketvault.com.
Consolidated viewsWe understand how grass roots cricket works - a club may be in more than one association, a club may have more than one team entered in a grade,
a player may play for more than one club at the one time. Our system easily supports this, and much more, and the 'views' of data
at all levels reflect these scenarios. Printable pagesAll ResultsVault pages are printer friendly - that is they print without a lot of the on screen elements such as headers and footers. Intelligent linkingLinks are everywhere - access a report and jump straight to a match, a venue, a player report, or back to the menu. Data filteringMost reports are filterable by things like grade, season, club, or association. Additionally, player filters can be set up by clubs
to give custom lists such as for under age teams. Online help and User documentation ResultsVault has an extensive library of online help and User documentation covering Frequently Asked Questions, general information and topic specific help to assist with using and administering ResultsVault.
We are continually upgrading ResultsVault and adding new features based on user feedback.
